Where will the dog be kept when nobody is home? Please be specific.
Where will the dog sleep at night? Please be specific.
How long, on average, will the dog be left alone each day? Describe your typical weekday and weekend day. Do you work full time? What provisions would you make if leaving a foster dog alone for 8+ hours per workday? Do you need assistance with walks, training, etc.?
Do you have a yard? Please describe. Is it completely fenced? Is it very sunny or shady?
The dog you are fostering is bred to be a companion dog. If left untrained or unsupervised for long periods they tend to make their own rules and can get into trouble. If needed, are you able to do obedience training with us in SF?
How many children visit your home? (We ask this because not all dogs are child friendly!)

Would you be willing to foster one that was not housebroken yet? Please note a dog that is being rescued from a shelter will have spent time in a kennel. In these circumstances it is impossible for us to tell if the dog is housetrained. Often these dogs need a brush-up in housetraining.
