Save SF Off-Leash Dog Walking!
Call-In Day to San Francisco Supervisors
Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011
San Francisco’s Supervisors haven’t yet said much about the Golden Gate National Recreation Area’s extreme proposal to restrict dogs and off-leash dog walking in places like Ft. Funston, Ocean Beach, Crissy Field, Baker Beach and Lands End, which have historically welcomed dogs.
But this IS an issue for the Supervisors—SF parks will be over-run by dogs if the proposed dog restrictions in the GGNRA are approved, and small businesses that provide dog walking services will be threatened.
The last time the GGNRA tried to drive away dogs and dog lovers, the SF Supervisors threatened to take Ft. Funston and Ocean Beach back from the federal government!
