Hello Pilots and Volunteers!

We need your help!! Last year we were very successful in working together
to move thousands of animals during the Pilots N Paws 5000. This years

Alumni Updates - we LOVE to read them!

Hello! I just finished looking through the alumni updates.... can't tell you how wonderful it feels to see those old friends' faces once again.... so many memories...

We ALL love seeing them.. so do the shelter folks who saved the dogs, the foster people.... so please, if you've adopted from us, feel free to create an account and post photos and stuff....

I've attached a photo of Nala, who was adopted last weekend. Her family came to SF from Sacramento, to meet the bostons... they are a wonderful home! However, it was not the bostons, but rather Nala who stole their heart..

When the boston arrived I told them... "would you like to meet her?" they smiled at me and said "We LOVE Nala, and would like to adopt her." An open heart always wins!

Probiotics - One Key to Good Health!

Elise and I were talking this morning about a puppy, and the issue of improving the immune system came up. I was reminded what the good people at Scarlet Sage told me about probiotics and searched out a few articles. Here's some GOOD info, reprinted from http://ezinearticles.com/?The-Probiotic-Immune-System&id=3303538
You can read the rest of the article on their page.... but in a nutshell, add probiotics to your food, and that of your companion animal, for optimal health!

We'll Be On Eye On The Bay this Friday!

Lisa and Cliff will be showcasing a few Wonder-dogs on the KPIX Channel 5 "Friday Flea Market" show that airs this Friday, July 2 at 7pm .

If you miss it this Friday, it will also air this Sunday, July 4 at 4:30pm, and will likely be archived on their website for later viewing at http://cbs5.com/eyeonthebay/EOTB.this.week.2.568555.html.
Lisa gives a brief history of Wonder Dog Rescue, then talks about specific pooches up for adoption with host Liam Mayclem. Me, I'm the animal wrangler. (Not unlike Marlon and Jim on the old Wild Kingdom shows).
We hope you get to see it.

THE DOGS NEED *YOU*!

I’m writing today to ask for your help with a very important project. We have helped SO many dogs with special medical needs in the past year.... our coffers are DEPLETED... Your help is urgently needed to continue this work. These animals don’t deserve to die! Your tax-deductible donation will help Wonder Dog continue to rescue and rehabilitate more special needs dogs. Please help us to give more dogs a second chance at life.

Here are a few who have been saved recently, thanks to our donors:
