Rescuing Dogs from Shelters....

Hi.... I recently came across this photo....

dolly scared

This was Dolly, rescued from SF Animal Care and Control. Both the SPCA and ACC had "declined" this dog due to behavior.... she was VERY shy around people and would growl. Unless a rescue stepped in for her, she was slated to be euthanized.

Well, we took Dolly. It did take some work too. She's a puppy, full of energy... she drags my shoes around the house, runs off with papers... but she has become a precious little doll. Here's Dolly today, just a few weeks following her rescue:

She LOVES people... .kids, adults... doesn't matter. Dolly loves playing with other dogs too. This great little dog represents SO many at shelters, who die for the crime of being unwanted, or "too difficult"

Please support your local rescue... if you are unable to donate money, give some time... two hours a week will do a world of good for dogs like Dolly.
