Hi My Name is Violet because when I had my leg operated on a few weeks ago- they put a big purple cast on it. Now that I'm running around again- you can call me whatever you like as long as you snuggle with me. My absolute favorite thing the the WORLD is snuggling. It can be active snuggling where you pet me( I just have to close my eyes in ecstasy when anyone does that!) or passive snuggling where I'm just sitting next to you- it doesn't matter to me I just love to be with y people. I like to jump around and play with my chew bone too- but as soon as a lap is available( or a seat next to you) I'm a happy camper and THAT's Where I wanna be!

The first year of my life was kinda rough as I was thrown in a room or a kennel all the tme. I didn't really know what to do with this stuff called grass or dirt. But now I'm doing much better and " "going to do business" on this grass and dirt stuff pretty regularly .I sleep quietly through the night in my bed and can " hold it" until everyone gets up because I know they will take me outside to " Do business" as soon as we get going. I also love cheerios for treats! I'm also starved for affection ( as my foster Mom says) Which means I'll do just about anything for a gentle pat on the head. My foster Mom says that I'm a tame little girl who'll sit as still as possible for hours as long as I can be next to you. I get my exercise in in short little burst where I run like crazy all of the the place- then I'm ready to snuggle again.

I don't bark and get along just fine with my fellow fur baby Chanel. We both love to bask in the sun on the back porch and my Foster Mom will move my bed out there in the mornings. I'll roll all over my big puffy bed to fluff it just right then just soak up those rays! That's what I call heaven!

I don't seem to have any trouble with people- though if you move at me suddenly I can't help but run away- the big meanies who had me for my first year of life used to lunge at me then hurt me- so I can be pretty fast when I need to be. But if you move slowly and don't scare me-I 'll always come right to you. But you need to keep me on a leash when we're outside cuz I am FAST! My Foster Mom thinks that how I got hit by a car in the first plae. I think I like girls better than boys- but I'm willing to give everyone a chance and if there's a fella out there who can be patient with me being a little timid- I'll warm right up to him after a few minutes of snuggling.

My Foster Mom say I am 3 pounds of love...and she can't believe someone would put a pure blooded little chi like me was neglected But I'm learning FAST Pretty soon I'll know all the stuff a one year ol doggie should know. I've been told I'm a spunky little thing for making it through thath such a positive and happy attitude! The doctor did a great job putting my little bones back in place and I'm starting to use my leg again even though I do still favor it when I run. My foster mom is working with me on my commands and I can do "sit" and " Stay" after a few cheerios....I also know "come" and will "heel" like a pro on the leash! But I'm smart and will learn anything you want to teach me. I'm very willing to please.

I love my foster Mom and all her snuggle loving friends but I really want my own " Forever" home...wll you be my new parent?
