Fun At The Park!!

Today we took a few of the foster dogs to the park it was a ton of fun!! We took some video, featuring Mignon(The Affinpincher), Francois(The mini-labradoodle), Gryffin(the border collie/sheltie mix), Jelly (the terrier mix), Alfie (the bearded collie mix), and Action Jackson (the scottie mix). Here it is!

Alfie looks like he's really coming along. he's a beautiful dog. Any interest in him yet?

Surprisingly there has been little interest in him..... As with Francois, people meet the dogs on the street... some of these guys dont really show affection right away.... they have been loners, left out in yards, etc..... To a perspective adoptor they can appear 'aloof'

We had a couple come down from marin on sunday to the north beach mobile, to meet Francois... she said he was 'just what they were looking for'.... and yet they did not adopt him, as they didn't make a connection.

Sometimes it take more than giving treats and taking a ten minute walk. One has to trust that the dog will come around..... *we* know they will!

Side note: Last week we went to the dog park... dogs were dropped off and stayed in the park with reed while I parked... I returned to find Alfie waiting at the gate for me. He and Francois are my shadows!
