UDATE: This sweet 13 year old passed away in her sleep early Sunday morning. Her foster mom thought that she was asleep, as she looked so peaceful. Mommy was plucked from the shelter right before euthanasia.... she knew love and comfort in her final weeks.

She'd gone to the mobile adoption just the day before. Mommy taught us taht she liked playing fetch, and she played with her ball at the mobile.... also got lots of treats and love from the people passing by. I miss her.... and I'm so glad that she passed peacefully.

Mommy is an incredibly sweet loving 25 pound Staffie mix. She was an owner surrender but it was pretty apparent that they did not treat her very well. She had been bred and someone cut her ears off right to her skull. She had some minor health issues, nothing serious, and has settled in to the routine of her fostr home. She loves lying in the sun on a soft bed, will go into her crate when you ask her, and is excellent with people. She could be in a home with other dogs, but I know she would love to be THE special one to somebody. Wonder Dog Rescue is looking for a foster or permanent loving home to live out the rest of her life.

Mommy is up-to-date on shots and spayed.
