Belle R.I.P.
11/19
Sweet Old Belle... .she passed away last week, from Kidney Failure.... she was so rickety and thin when she came to us from the shelter back in April. Belle was a good girl, and pretty smart too! She learned to bark to be fed (canned food!!) and to be brought up on the bed. In her later weeks/months she could not climb as well... but in the early days Belle was like a little mountain goat! Belle was probably 15 years old.... or more... .I miss you, girl...

Belle was rescued from the Turlock shelter. When I saw her photo I KNEW we could not leave her there to die. She is healthy despite being extremely thin.
Belle is pretty old..... she is also pretty neat! She is part mountain goat, and will find a way to climb up on something to eat.... She is very thin, despite eating canned and soft food daily. But she seems healthy and happy! If you are interested in adopting or fostering sweet Belle (who is also deaf) please send over an email. She gets along okay with other dogs, but she would really LOVE to be the queen bee of someone's home and heart.

Do I Hear Belle-s?
we love this gentle soul, our Belle, a black doxie grandma with spunk and spice. Belle is getting up there in years, but that does not stop her from nudging some of the zaney pups back in line. she loves canned food, her bed, and being nuzzled behind the ears.
with little hope for a forever home (due to age), Belle will likely be with us in her foster home until she passes on. please cross your paws for painless peace for sweet girl Belle and donate to Wonder Dog Rescue toward her care. you may donate by going to the "How You Can Help" link above. any donation appreciated - we spay/neuter all the animals that we foster, we feed and clothe (when needed) the little guys, make sure they are up to date on their shots, and provide any needed veterinary care. thanks for being Wonder-ful!
