Ginger(snap)

Ginger needs a female-ONLY household with no small children.. It's not because of aggression... rather, she is just verry timid around men. Her loving family is returning her after one year because of this issue. They care so much about her, but know that she will have a happy life in a home w/out men. Her fear of men is much more evident in the house than outdoors. (i.e.. she will sit on the man's lap while riding in the car, but hide in the house) Please email for info on adopting this amazing little girlie!

Sweet, shy little Ginger. She was rescued from the Oakland shelter and has slowly settled into her foster home. Ginger is one of the sweetest dogs we have met, but also one of the more timid. She loves to be held and to snuggle in bed, but is afraid of being approached by people standing or walking toward her. Mind you, she is making progress, she's just very undersocialized around people.

Ginger could do well in a home with another dog who would help her learn the ropes of doggie living. She will need a patient and loving person. Ginger is about two years old, spayed and up to date on her shots. She weighs about 9 or 10 pounds. She's pretty well housebroken, and SOOOO special!

Ginger is the cutest little doggy.

Beautiful Redhead wants Snuggles Now!

Ginger has been with us for quite some time - she has made progress and we are looking for a great female-only Forever Home. our animals in rehabilitation require special attention and care. with timid or anxious dogs, for example, we need to take care of ongoing food, boarding, training, and vet fees.

anyone curious about where adoption money goes in a Volunteer run Non-Profit organization? we spay/neuter all the animals that we foster, we feed and clothe (when needed) the little guys, make sure they are up to date on their shots.... AND provide any needed veterinary care.

**please take a moment to consider beautiful Ginger's rehabilitation project, and donate to Wonder Dog Rescue toward her care. you may donate by going to the "How You Can Help" link above. thanks!
