Big Foot is a very unique and amazing companion. If you treat him like a good dog, he will treat you like a great pet owner. Big Foot is very well behaved, but needs a strong pack leader to guide him and his ability to learn new things and pick up good/bad habits. He has some trust issues with people, but has made tremendous strides in this area. Big Foot needs a home with less activity.... not a lot of people coming in and out. He would do great in a quiet home with fairly minimal guests, preferably being the only dog. Big Foot responds especially well to kind words and baby talk and should not be yelled at, but spoken to with a firm tone. He can go from being hooked on playing with his toy to being hooked on getting a good butt and belly rub in a matter of seconds. He loves to cuddle and sleep under the blankets with you next to your feet. He understands if you need a couple of nights to get some leg room and will sleep in a dog bed at your command, but will hop up and snuggle with you in the morning. Overall, if you are good to Big Foot, Big Foot is good to you. This fella has been through a lot and truly deserves a good, loving home.
