Lucy (now Zita or Lady Z))

Date Adopted: Fri, 04/23/2010

Breed: Boston Terrier

Why I chose this dog:

This little lady is the ultimate sweetheart. Kevin and I fell in love with her the moment we meet. She is so inquisitive and friendly to both people and other dogs. We knew right away that she would fit right into our family and she has. She is fast becoming a fixture in the neighborhood and no one can resist giving her few strokes when they see her. We took her to the gym with us today and she got endless attention.

She's been in our home only 3 days but has settled right in and has her own spot on the couch. She has started to come when called and has lost her initial nervousness. She even knows which house is ours at the end of her walks. She's had a few accidents but today started asking to go outside when she had the need. She responds very well to voice commands and simple sharp tone is enough to make her stop any bad behavior; though it's hard to correct her sometimes as she's so cute even while being bad.

Thanks to Linda, Cliff, and all the Wonder Dog volunteers for your support and knowledge. Also thank you to Lucy's previous family for being kind enough to find such a loving organization to help find your little girl a new home.

Things I love about this dog

What's not to love about this little doll. She's curled up in blanket now after a long afternoon at the dog park and looks like an angel... well a snoring angel :)
