This guy is SO much fun!!!!!

Sammy arrived at the Yolo county shelter with parvo.... A wonderful vet treated him, and he is completely healed now and ready to adopt! Sammy is a small guy, about ten months of age and 9lbs.

He is settling in very well with his foster folks and dogs. Sammy is an active boy with a lot of puppy in him and loves to 'play bite'. We do not know yet whether he will be a good dog for a family with children - he'll need to be trained before being exposed to little fingers.

Sammy has such great energy, and is good with all of the dogs. Because he is so young (under one year) and small we think he will do great as a city dog... a perfect apartment companion, and a wonderful addition to a home with other dogs.

Sammy is a great little guy, with soft soft ears, opposable eyebrows and a great spunky attitude he makes himself at home in any situation. He was fine with my cats during pup social/sleepover, and was fine with the other dogs.

This little guy will keep you laughing at his antics for hours - and he's so macho, the boyfriend definately will approve (and likely steal him every now and then to go romp around in the dog park!)

You see that smile in his first picture? That expression says it all!
