Sweet Sparkles was used by a backyard breeder to produce litter after litter of beautiful puppies, then dumped at the Lake County shelter when she got too "old." You will be amazed by this sweet, gentle dog - she loves everyone and everything (although dogs who jump on her do make her nervous, so calm dog companions are a must).

The animal control officer who impounded Sparkles told us that she was living in terrible conditions - dirty, cold, outdoors. She deserves the warmth and love of a wonderful family for the rest of her golden years.

Sparkles wags her tail so much when you speak softly to her, and she communicates to much love and gratitude with her expressive brown eyes.
