7/30 UPDATE: We have decided to send Aslan to Old English Sheepdog rescue. He is a wonderful fella and is going to make someone a great companion. He does have specific behavioral issues though. I know that "breed rescue" is best able to recognize and reshape behaviors, and he will be in great hands. Aslan, king of the beasts, and 40+lb pure Sheepdog puppy! He's a beautiful Grey and White, is 5 mo. old and was surrendered by his owner, a loving home. Aslan is a RESOURCE GUARDER and needs a home which knows HOW to work with this. Please be ready to detail this in your application to adopt. He loves to run, and initiates play with other dogs - even ok with my cats, just does not care much about them at all.

Aslan is a large happy bouncy puppy, but was a bit too much for his older adopter. He's a very good boy but needs to learn not to jump or puppy nip - he does "sit" and usually barks to go outside to the potty. Aslan needs clear rules, and a strong, dominant owner. He is a great dog, and together you will benefit from puppy class.
