Sam I Am (Francis) (update)

UPDATE: Our dear friends at A Chance for Bliss are experiening difficulties which necessitate their "downsizing" on the number of animals in their care. Wonder Dog Rescue is taking Sam and 3 other bostons back into rescue. Sam needs a new home... might you consider helping him? I'll have updated info in a few days....

UPDATE: Flo and Cosmo were adopted.... only Francis (aka Sam I Am) is waiting for a home... Won't you complete this lovely dog's journey by giving him a lovely home?
The owner of these three dogs passed away 6/30, from a short bout of cancer. She adored all of her animals, which included parrots, dogs, koi and a pygmy goat! She was most concerned for her dogs.

Sam is just about ten years old, and is currently being fostered in Santa Rosa with our colleagues, Auntie Barbara's Doggy Day Care. Sam is housebroken, but also 'dribbles'.... so he will need a family or person who is patient, and willing to clean up after him. The staff at the daycare tell me that he's much friendlier to women than men, but can be won over with patience and good treats. He has been through SO much..... will you help to make his life once again complete/?

These three amazing bostons were left in the Martinez shelter's Night-drop box. You can see in this video that they were *extremely* stressed...

How sad....... I feel so lucky to have been given the opportunity to bring them into rescue. It's already so obvious to me that these were someone's beloved dogs. They are housebroken, and show signs of being very well mannered, affectionate dogs. Each is doing well in a foster home at this time.

King Cosmo's an older male with a visual impairment and a heart of gold! He is available for adoption to an *excellent* home!

Hello... thank you SO much for posting about the three dogs. I would be very grateful if you would email me at linda@wonderdogrescue.org. I'd be grateful for a little more info, and to know more about their momma.

these dogs were so freaked out in the shelter that they were not being made available for adoption. We are SO glad that we were able to get them into rescue. As soon as they arrived we all knew that these precious dogs had have been SO greatly loved. I sensed that their person had been a woman, that she perhaps moved slowly.... and that she was often home. King Cosmo/Caine does not like to be left alone, he follows me everywhere!
