Thelma and Louise previously Madelline and Annette previously Ying and Yang
Date Adopted: Sat, 09/26/2009
Breed: Pug mix
Why I chose this dog:My boyfriend and I decided we wanted to get a dog so we were looking around and came to an adoption event and met the 2 little pug mix sisters Madelline and Annette. They were still recovering from there Mange issue but they were the cutest sweetest little girls I had ever seen. It was love at first meet!! We heard about there crazy background and the great work that Elise and Linda had done with them and knew that even though we had been only looking for one dog we couldn't split these girls up. They had come through it all together and we wanted them to forever be together. So fast forward to almost a year later Madelline now Thelma and Annette now Louise are a year and a half and are healthy as can be with full beautiful coats of hair. Louise still bears some scars from her rough beginning but she has the the thickest blond coat. As I sit here and write this I am looking at an early picture of Thelma in the upper left hand corner of the Wonder dog website and seeing her sleeping next to me can't believe its the same dog. Since we adopted them we have moved to the east coast and the girls are loving having a back yard, chasing squirrels, moths, hiking and swimming. They are still each others best friend and we couldn't imagine life with out them.
Things I love about this dogThelma-She is a gentle soul who loves clothes out of the dryer and babies. She is fast and loves to play chase with other dogs. Louise-She is a bull in a china shop:) She loves to swim, chew bones and sleep on a nice warm lap. I could go on forever about how much we love these 2 and there antics. Everyone that meets them talks about what personalities they are. There is not a single day when I am not laughing at there antics.
