My husband and I had decided that when it came time to get another dog, we would get a rescue dog. I had been looking on line when my husband emailed me, asking if I had seen “Beamer” and sent me the link. His email said, “This is it. This is the dog for us.” I fell in love with him as soon as I saw his photo. We met Watson and took him on a long walk. He was far more interested in the sights, sounds, and smells around him than he was my husband and me. At one point, Watson stopped and turned and looked at us. I picked him up. He licked my face and snuggled his head into my shoulder. My husband petted him and he licked his hand. We took him home with us that day.

My daughter renamed him Watson, as he is the perfect Boston gentleman. He loves walks, rides in the car, play dates at Starbucks, chasing balls, and his family. He is very friendly. We’ve never seen him upset at any other person or creature. He cuddles, gives kisses, and sleeps wherever he wants to sleep, primarily on my bed. He loves to curl up on my husband’s pillow. He is extremely intelligent and well mannered. There is nothing to dislike about this wonderful Boston gentleman.
