Zahra - RESCUED FROM THE EUTHANASIA ROOM..... CHOC. LAB/PIT MIX, A DOLL!!
Zahra is AMAZING!! This chocolate lab/pit bull mix was rescued today from the Contra Costa County Shelter. Lucky Zahra was SO close to being euthanized today, but the fantastic volunteers at the shelter reached us just as we found her a foster home. What terrific timing!
Zahra is such a sweet sweet girl. She is a staff favorite, and its easy to see why. She is so eager to please, and such a love bug. Zahra weighs 70 lbs and is about 1 year old. This girl will make a FABULOUS addition to someone's family :) :) :)
Zahra has been tested with dogs and she does very well. She would probably need to be with medium to large dogs, although she is very gentle with small dogs. She has all the basic obedience down: sit, down, come, stay, drop it and leave it. She loves to cuddle and nap. She is very gentle indoors like she's happy to be there. She is very playful and has lots of energy to walk/run/play. She loves to play tug-a-rope.

love, love, LOVE Zahra (aka Brownie)
Zahra came to the adoption event today with her wonderful foster peeps. She is a sweet, soulful, stellar dog!! She aims to please so much! Super mellow, gentle and simply lovely. I curled up with her on the XL dog bed: she rested her head on my leg and it was heaven! If you are looking for a dog's dog, a life's companion: look no further. P.S: Thank you Liz for saving this very special soul, you're the best!!-L&C
