Why I chose this dog:

His personality, you could tell he was a sweet dog and although he was a bit timid at first I knew he would eventually come out of his shell. Not to mention he has the cutest face I've ever seen.

Things I love about this dog

Everything! No matter what he does you can't really get mad at him for it. He has the spunkiest personality and constantly wants to play. He loves other dogs and recently has made a lot of friends at our local dog park. He has taken instruction well and the more I try to teach him, the more he learns, he's a smart boy.


Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Today we picked up our latest foster dog, Ewok, who needed a little extra attention before moving on to her permanent home. What a sweetheart she is! Since getting home, all she has wanted to do is snuggle on the sofa. She has claimed our fuzzy brown cushion, which will now be her throne throughout her stay with us. Worried that she may be a little cold, with her tiny frame and missing fur, we decided she needed something to warm her up a little. Scouring our doggie closet we were unable to find anything her size. Anna had a plan though, and sent me to my closet to find some old socks I didn't wear. A few snips of the scissors later, we were in business, and here are the results! I knew my Alaska socks had a purpose!

Why I chose this dog:

Of all the dogs that I met, Scotty just sat there staring at me. He didn't try to jump on me, and when I walked with him, he was so calm and sweet. He has the biggest brown eyes I've ever seen :D He's great around all people, and especially loves kids!

Things I love about this dog

He loves to be outdoors! He runs and jumps around, but when I call him over, he listens very well and comes back to me. I don't have to worry about where I take him because he's good around anyone.
