Al and Sue lost their beloved boston just a month ago. She was only 6, and had developed cancer in her mouth. It was an honor to select them to adopt Flash. Sue began to cry a little as they were leaving. I knew that she was thinking of the little girl they lost. I gave her a hug, and told her we were so happy that they wanted Flash. And thus, the circle of life continues
We recently received wheels for Dasher, whose spinal disability prevents him from using his back legs fully to walk and run. He's okay without them in the house, but for those big events - the Dog Park or a nice Walk - he needs some support.
We were able to rescue Dasher, to neuter him, have him seen by two veterinary specialists and get these wheels thanks to the kindness of our donors. Thanks, we LOVE YOU!!
Friends, there really *are* miracles at Christmas... We had been struggling to keep Buddy alive ... a urinary blockage had him going to the vet at least a half dozen times.... The cathetor did not stay in, and was not 'solving' the problem. Surgery was quoted at $3000.... We did not want to euthanize Buddy, but didnt know what to do.
