Colin

Colin has been helping Wonder Dog Rescue for many years. We all appreciate his humor and attentiveness. "Uncle Colie" (to the dogs) always knows what needs to be done, and he jumps in to assist whenever needed. Colin spent his life as a professional dancer and ballet teacher.... the dogs benefit from his fancy footwork!

Elise & Matthew

Elise attends most of the Saturday mobiles. We just couldn't do it without her! Elise and her husband Matthew have helped with transports, fostering and mobile assistance. They are owned by their Wonder Dog Tilly and a couple of kitties.

Emily

Emily is a regular mobile adoption volunteer, whenever her job permits! She's so much fun to have around, and all of the dogs love her!

Erin

Erin has moved to Southern California... but we still love her! For several years Erin did so much to help support rescue, and was a constant fixture at the Saturday mobile adoptions. She helped keep us sane, safe and prosperous!

Mathew & Anna

Mathew & Anna have been friends of WDR for a couple of years. They have been foster parents for several of our wonderful doggies. Mathew is also responsible for creating our new website.

Paul & Shannon

Paul & Shannon are a perfect example of what volunteering can do for your life! They've been helping out at the Saturday mobiles in the Lower Haight for several years. "It's our DOG FIX" they'd announce to any and all who asked. Following their wedding last year they adopted Casper, a Wonder Dog pup. Despite their busy lives, we still see them on the weekends, and we love them SO much for it!

Sariah

The FUTURE of Rescue! This 12 year old girl has such deep love of animals and a strong commitment to their safety. We love having her at our weekly mobiles!

Tammy

Tammy lives in Modesto and works as a Vet Tech. We met Tammy when she was fostering Tilly (now with Elise) for the Stanislaus County shelter. Tammy has become a regular volunteer, and she will always make time to drive dogs from the Modesto/Turlock/Tracy area into San Francisco. We are SO grateful to her, and glad to count Tammy as a true friend!
