8 years old
Buster, an 8 year old Boston Terrier, was reluctantly owner-surrendered. The family had a medical issue and could not keep him at home.
Buster is great with other dogs of all sizes. He likes to play catch and is easy to train. He’s very polite and mostly quiet - unless he earns to play, hears someone at the front door, or is asking for food off your plate. If you turn your back and say no, he’ll even back off and wait to see if you drop food by mistake. Haha!
He wants to play a lot, so he can get pushy and bark a lot when he wants to play fetch - he’s obsessed with playing with balls and fetch, as I had mentioned, so we keep balls out of view unless we are willing to play for a while.
He never gets tired of playing with the ball so at some point there’s a settling down period where we have to talk him down or ignore his whining and barking to play. Eventually he stops. He would benefit from clear boundaries around playing with a ball.
The boy is super snuggly! he always wants to be close to someone at all times. He follows his foster brother Max everywhere and gets upset when he can’t see him.
He likes long walks but his feet get tender with too much walking on pavement. He is potty trained.
