7 years old
Lucy, aka Lucy Goosey, has a 1,000 lbs of personality packed into a 15lb body. It takes Lucy a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once she does, she turns into a bouncy bundle of cuddles. Lucy has a slight limp from an injury, but that doesn't stop her from getting around and enjoying life. Some of her favorite activities are playing with her Kong, riding in the car, short walks, lying in a sunny spot, and snuggling under blankets. Lucy is super smart and totally house broken. She is fine with cats. She avoids interacting with other dogs, but is not aggressive towards other dogs. Ideally she would be in a home with no young children and no other dogs to minimize the chance of her getting knocked over. Lucy is approximately 7 years old and has some medical issues that potential adopters should be aware of: 1) She is still recovering from the surgery to repair her pelvis after being hit by a car. She cannot go up or down stairs and is not allowed to jump on or off furniture. 2) She has mammary tumors that still need to be removed 3) She has congenital deformities in her spine that have the potential to cause her mobility issues in the future.
