Cairn Terrier Mix
From Skippy's Foster Parents August 2020:
Skippy is an absolute sweetheart. He's easy-going, pretty quite and overall well-behaved. He warmed up to us very quickly and just loves to be around people. He just wants to plop down and take a nap by your feet or to be right by your ankles, following you wherever you go.
Skippy is a sophisticated, older gentleman. He has very few teeth left so he can only eat soft food or food small enough to eat in one bite. The shelter vet found an issue with his back, so he's on pain meds. We try to be careful with stairs and don't let him get on or off furniture by himself.
But that doesn't slow Skippy down. He will scamper excitedly down the street on his walks and try to sniff everything in his path. He walks well on leash and is friendly with all the dogs he meets at the dog park. He's probably house-trained but we take him on walks frequently, so we're not entirely sure.
