Stella was very shy at the shelter but is doing well in her foster home. She is quiet at first but after she is comfortable will open up. She is now playing and running around with other dogs! She is about 5 lbs and needs to gain a pound or so. She would do best in a home where someone is with her most of the time. She didn't get enough socializing before and has some catching up to do. Stella would do well with another dog. We don't know how she would respond to little kids but is doing well with an older kid in her foster home. Feel free to reach out with questions and if your interested in meeting her please fill out an adoption application. From her foster parent: Stella is a sweet, spunky little girl ready to find her forever home this holiday season! She is active and loves going walks, romping around and playing with dog toys. Stella is also great with people and dogs of all ages. She can be shy at first, especially when you go to pick her up, but quickly has become a social butterfly in our house. We have another dog & she loves following him around trying to get him to play with her. Her house-training is excellent and she can also make it through the night without needing to go out. She sleeps in our bed and likes to burrow under the covers at the foot of the bed. When I come home she gets very excited and runs up and down the halls. She will whine when she wants attention or for you to play with her. She will make a wonderful companion. Stella is approximately 1 year old weighing a mere 5lbs.
