Sassy is a chi/min pin mix (we think) that was rescued from a neighbor who was going to either leave her behind or dump her at a shelter.
My friend, their neighbor, agreed to take Sassy in so she wouldn't end up in a shelter, or worse, left behind all alone. My friend has known Sassy since the neighbor got her approximately one year ago. Sassy would often be left out and would come to her house and visit her and her dog. We believe Sassy is between 1-2 years old, but likely closer to 1. She is 19 pounds.
Sassy lived in a very busy household with three grade school aged children, 4 adults and two medium sized dogs, and one cat,. She has been known to chase squirrels. She gets along well with all dogs. She came to my friend infested with fleas and super dirty, and wasn't living the best life in her former home.
Sassy is crate trained and mostly potty trained, if her people are paying attention. She loves playing fetch with her Kong, and loves a good snuggle! She is great riding in the car, and loves to lounge on cool grass.
She is already spayed, and the former family said she was up to date on shots, but couldn't find her vet records. So, we are taking her to get another round of shots this weekend, just to be on the safe side to make sure she is all up to date.
She is currently living with an elderly small dog, and is proving to have too much energy for this old man's liking. So, we are hoping to find her a placement soon.
