Shy ~ Adoption Pending

Breed: Pit Bull mix
Sex: Female
Age: 9 years old
Housebroken: Yes

Are you looking for a dog who’s potty trained, in crate training, smart but not show-offy, and enjoys a couple of short walks around the neighborhood to smile at your neighbors and low-key dogs? Shy is not shy at all, and will settle very affectionately into your home. She is living with a middle-aged male shih tzu and an active adolescent female pit bull mix. Shy has no food aggression (the shih tzu has snitched food right out of Shy’s bowl) and will sit/wait for her meals.

She knows sit, down, and ‘give me paw’. She gets a bit grumpy with overly active/loud young dogs who get too close, but otherwise will neutrally greet calm dogs on leash. Who needs all that youthful noise and bouncing? She doesn’t need much exercise to continue her weight management, so if you’re a busy household, or a person who likes to just amble around the hood and sit and watch life go by, Shy could be a great dog for you!

Shy is a spayed, vaccinated female pit bull. She is approximately 9 years old, and weighs approximately 90 pounds.
